Everyone expresses their individuality in different ways. As a Native American I have native tribal tattoos and earrings that set me apart from anyone else around where I live.

Some people will use certain symbols or customized sayings on t-shirts and other methods to express themselves. Many people use their clothes to express an attitude or certain way of thinking. When we see the clothes people wear when returning to school it tells a lot about them.

You can tell a lot about people by what they wear, for example the people you see returning to school who are wearing the exact same clothing style they wore during the last school term. Lame! When you look at these people you think, "Are they living in a hole?" It could be a strong indication that these people did not mature at all, if they continue this during the entire time they are in school it could represent a mental condition. On the other side of the coin, a person like this could have simply found the fashion style that they identify with and therefore see no reason to change the style that they wear.

Now onto those that are constantly changing their clothing and fashion styles. This again can represent a positive or a negative. On the positive side, it could simply be that the person has had a great experience while they are out of school that changed their fashion outlook and that they are looking at the world with a fresh perspective or that they are a changed person and they want everyone to know it.

The downside to this radical difference in back to school clothing choices is that the person could have had some major negative experience that changed their way of thinking or even their whole outlook on life. It could be their way of saying that they are changed and that they will not be a victim any longer.

Some returning students tend to go with the crowd and will dress according to what their friends are wearing. My biggest remembrance of this was the preppies who wore Izod Lacoste and khaki pants all the time. Another example of this would be the Goth look that is so prevalent these days. Where I live in Florida the style tends to lean more towards surfing and skateboarding clothing. There's really no right or wrong, just express yourself.

If you choose the proper high quality footwear they should come with some kind of cushion inside that will make your exercise routine more comfortable. An improper choice of shoes can result in injuries in many cases.

Moving on up, you will also want to choose a good pair of pants that will not bind while you are training. One style that is in is that of the baggy workout pants, but regardless of whether you choose baggy pants or more conservative workout shorts you want to be sure that they do not interfere with any movements or so loose that they may be caught in machines. If you choose training pants constructed of a good micro fiber this will help keep you cool and remove moisture while you are training.

For your choice of exercise shirt you will want to choose one that is also as comfortable as everything else you have chosen. Regular t-shirts are a very popular choice, just be careful with them if you are doing upper body weight lifting. Tank tops and sleeveless shirts may be a better choice since they don't bind in the shoulder area.

One of the most important aspects of working out is choosing the appropriate workout attire that will be comfortable during the exercise you are doing. A lot of this is personal preference depending upon what is comfortable to you. You can't just look at your workout buddy's gym attire and then buy the same things they have unless you truly know that those same garments will be okay for you. There are a few things that will help you keep from having to go through the hassle of returns.

One of the first things you want to look at is fabrics that will move moisture out away from your body which will keep you dry and comfortable for long and sweaty workouts. If you are doing high impact aerobics or running you will want a fabric that will remove moisture as well so that you will stay as dry as possible. This type of apparel will be more expensive but it will be well worth it. If you aren't going to be working out so hard that you sweat a lot then you can go with a blend of polyester, cotton, and spandex.

The next thing we want to look at now that we know the appropriate fabrics is how to choose the right cuts that will be good for the activities you are doing. If you live in an area where it is cool and you will be exercising outdoors you will want to buy the exercise apparel in layers that you can remove as you heat up and tie them around your waist or place in a light backpack. The clothing layer that is next to your skin should be either long sleeve or a tank top depending upon the weather and temperature. You may choose to wear a sweatshirt over the first layer which can then be topped off with an all weather jacket if you are going to be in rain, sleet, or snow.

As far as pants go there are a great number of choices in pants that wick moisture and some of them even come in thermal styles to help keep you warm which can be worn by themselves or with another layer. If you are training in the cold be sure to wear a cap or hat to keep your head warm, much of our body heat is lost through the head when it is cold.

If you are training or exercising in a commercial gym or in your own home it is also smart to dress in layers so that you can remove clothing as you warm up. When weightlifting or doing aerobics especially a t-shirt can become tight and rigid due to being wet and will give you some skin irritation. If you dress in layers you will always be comfortable no matter what climate you are in.

So said Mark Twain, and that saying still rings true, as our society has developed into one that uses apparel as a way to convey one's social status. Beginning in the 1960s, T-shirts became a means of self-expression. Back then, plain white T-shirts transformed into tie-dye works of art proclaiming the rise of "flower power" and urging, "Make love, not war." Soon, messages began appearing on T-shirts using silk screening or screen printing. Bands began selling branded T-shirts to their fans at concerts, and young people began wearing band T-shirts as a symbol of their personal identities.

For the past few decades, graphic tees have also been used as promotional and branding tools. Whether the word "Gap" is emblazoned across the front of a T-shirt or a depiction of a favorite Disney character adorns the wearer, the T-shirt has become a means of marketing a product or brand.

There are a few things in life which confuse women, and among these few items definitely lies the mysterious bra size.

The bra size is one measurement which many women get wrong, and which in turn causes some style disasters. Wearing a bra in the wrong size is often the cause of dresses and top not looking good, irritated and squashed breasts, and many other unpleasant circumstances which no woman wants to experience.

Often, the cause for women wearing the wrong bra size is simple. They do not know what it is, because quite simply they do not know how to find out what it is. Some of us feel comfortable with going to a lingerie store and getting a 'professional' to give us a bra fitting to help discover the correct bra size, but many other are not. So here I present to you a quick and easy, step by step guide to a personal and private bra fitting.

Follow these 5 simple and easy steps should help you find out your correct bra size in no time!

Items you will need:
1. An essential item that you will need, is obviously a tape measure.
2. A mirror, this will come in very hand to ensure you are doing things the right way, so make sure you are standing in front of a mirror.
3. Pen and paper, it is good to keep this at hand, unless you have a really good memory! I always like to have a pen and paper at hand to ensure things are recorded down, and calculated the right way.

Step 1
The first thing we need to do is measure underneath the breasts in order to find out the band size. Whilst standing in front of your mirror, with the measuring tape at hand, start at your cleavage and pass the measuring tape behind your back and around to your front. This measurement is your band size, so jot it down on the paper: Band size = X inches.

Step 2
Now we need to discover the good old cup size. Three essentials steps are involved in finding this out. Firstly, you will need to move the measuring tape up to your armpits and measure above your breasts. Write this number down on the paper: Above breast level = X inches.

Step 3
Secondly, we will need to measure the breast at nipple level, so move the measuring tape further down to do so. Jot down this new number on the paper as well: Nipple level = X inches.

Step 4
Now the final step in finding out your cup size involved subtracting the 'above breast level' measurement from the 'nipple level' measurement, and there you have it! The result is your cup size. Follow the guide below to find out what your cup size is, according to the difference in measurement between 'above breast level' and 'nipple level'. So let's say the difference is 4 inches, your cup size would be a C.

* 0 to 1/2" AA cup
* 1/2" to 1" A cup
* 1" to 2 1/2" B cup
* 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" C cup
* 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" D cup
* 4 1/2" to 6" DD (or E cup for some bras)
* 6" to 7" DDD (or F cup for some bras)
* 7" to 8" G cup
* 8" to 9" GG cup
* 9" to 10" H cup
* 10" to 11" HH cup
* 11" to 12" J cup
* 12" to 13" JJ cup

Step 5
Get your band size, which is the measurement you found out when you first started your own private fitting, and your recently discovered cup size and couple them up together. Viola! There you have it, you official and accurate bra size. For example, if your band size was 38 inches, and your cup size was a C, your bra size would be a 38C.
