Summer vacations help to rejuvenate your body, mind and soul. It helps you keep away your worries related to your career, family and friends. Nobody can ignore the importance of rest and relaxation for one's overall well-being.

In summers, the weather is getting warmer so get ready to face high humidity and extreme heat that are approaching you fast. We all love our vacation time. Some of us are unable to take the summer off to be with our family. But if you are lucky enough, you may draw out some days for fun, laughter, adventure and lots of entertainment. Summer vacations needs planning for everything you use in your daily life.

Outfits for summer vacation: Clothes are mirror image of one's personality. You should start packing your outfits while keeping yourself informed about weather patterns of the place you are planning to visit. Comfortable, easy-going and sun protective clothing would be ideal to enjoy all outdoor activity during summer vacation. If you are not willing to buy UV protecting clothes for you, please keep sunscreen with you.

You might be getting bored with business suits, normal office clothes, and dress shoes. So let's try something different. Easy-to-care fabrics such as cotton, lycra, nylon and spandex blends are appropriate for vacations. For ladies who like adventure, cotton shorts would be easier for you to enjoy your adventure. You can mix and match with twin-set tops. It will not only save space in your suitcase but also provide versatility in dressing up. Shorts and tops or skirts and tanks make an easy daytime uniform.

Don't forget to keep sweater and/or jacket, if it is cool place. A light cotton dress will look great with sandals or heels for a night out. You can also take bright color or printed sarong with you. It can be worn when you go out at night for a walk after dinner. You should also include at least one pair of jeans or capris in your suitcase. For those women who mix business with travels should keep some causal clothes that make them to look best and feel fantastic about their appearance. A black cotton pant with light pink top can be worn with flats.

Jewelry: You can buy local treasures to accessorize your outfit, but avoid bringing expensive jewelry with you. You should avoid tops and tee with logos or designs because your shirt's message could be potentially offensive to others and can create unwanted problem for you. Always pack two extra pairs of undergarments and pack one set in your carry-on luggage if you are flying.

Hat: A hat can be your best friend during summer. Wide, full or floppy brimmed hats with substantial vertical stripes add grace to women with curvy figures. If you want to look casual, you can go for a low-brimmed traditional sunhat.

Bathing suit: One or two-piece bikini with a bold print would be superb for a stylish summer vacation on or near the water. Bikini takes very little room so you can bring two bathing suits. You can wear hot patterns and bright, eye-catching colors bath suits. You can also wear sarong to cover a bathing suit on the beach.

Stylish shoes: Two to three pairs of footwears are necessary to keep. A soft pair of leather flip flop can be worn while wandering here and there on the beach. A black color wedge heel sandal can look good on any of your dress. Don't forget to a pair of athletic shoes if you're going for sight-seeing.

Makeup tips during summer vacation: For steamy weather, you don't need to makeup precisely. With light makeup you can look hot in this hot season. Avoid accompanying whole makeup box with you. This sweltering season is not the time for dark lipsticks and heavy eyeliner, but it is time for makeup colors that are more forgiving and easier to apply.

Save space: When packing for a trip, don't overstuff your suitcase. You should keep space for the things you'll buy at your destination. It will be good to share things like shampoo, hairdryer toothpaste etc. with other family members. Ultimately, it will reduce the number of bags, suitcases during travel.

Last but not the least; don't forget to keep camera with you to capture your vacation's treasures. Happy vacation!

As a woman with impeccable taste, you undoubtedly have a closet full of beautiful clothes; however, there are essential pieces that no classy lady should be without. If you can't get them all at once, piece this wardrobe together one garment at a time. The next time you get an invitation to that special event, you'll be glad you did.

Black Pants: A flattering pair of sleek black trousers not only outlives any trend that will come and go; it is a pair of pants that will work for any occasion. Whether you're having lunch with a colleague, attending your child's school play or meeting with the PTO, well made black pants are a suitable wardrobe solution. Both professional and casual, they can be dressed up or down.

The Black Pump: This classic leather pump has also held it's own regardless of any trend. Like the black pants, they can be dressed up or down and worn with trousers or skirt; if you really feel like living on the wild side, slide these on with your favorite pair of jeans -- nothing drives a man crazy like a heel with denim. In the end, whether you choose a plain pair or one with a subtle embellishment, a pair of black pumps will add class and polish to any outfit you choose.

A Cashmere Wrap: No matter how you slice it, cashmere is luxurious. No matter the occasion, if you want just a little extra warmth, wrap it around yourself and be instantly happy. Understated and sophisticated, a cashmere wrap oozes style and class.

A Small Clutch: No matter where you go, you need a purse. Your everyday handbag can seem overwhelming and large, no matter how expensive, when you're staring at your sweetie across a candlelit table. Instead, opt for a small clutch that will hold just the essentials like cell phone, lipstick, keys and some cash. Some will come with a strap that is either removable or a tuck-away, leaving you with the option to make it a wristlet if you're trying to enjoy a martini while standing in crowd.

A Little Black Dress: This number says chic without even uttering a word. Whether it is ultra formal or very simple, it will always be sophisticated in its style simply because you can change the entire look with just your accessories. For eons, women have shopped for the perfect one whether it is a V neck, full skirt or a more fitted look you're after; if you find it, take good care of it. You'll likely be taking it out time and time again!

A Dark Colored Suit: I know, I know. Suits aren't much fun. But sometimes the occasion calls for it, and when it does, you need to be ready. A dark colored suit is a fail-safe in today's society. When you arrive in a well fitted jacket and skirt, you look polished and professional, ready to take on anyone. Invest in the best that you can afford as this will serve many uses over many years. Even if you don't always choose to wear the jacket and skirt together, you can wear them as separates.

Trends come and go as quickly as some of today's so-called celebrities. If you want your wardrobe to stand the test of time, invest your money wisely and pick up classic pieces that you can wear, time and time again.

How would you identify your personality? Is your professional image always at its best?
Do you let the world know by the way you dress and the way you express yourself? Finding the best you that enhances your personality and your image might take a little discovery on your part.

Here are five distinctive types that may suggest what you have to work with to always appear at your best.

An Intellectual

If you feel you are the intellectual type, your fashions express your brainpower and show off your appreciation for the creativeness found in various fashion styles. Your way of dressing expresses organization, ease, and self-control, but is not boring. You like to show off your artistic side for clothing that fits your personality.

Always select fashions that give attention to beautiful cuts and lines in the design. Long and straight lines in dresses and suits that are classical are the best way to go. Dresses that are in gray, delicate, and understated colors are good choices. Your accessories may be traditional, or antique, and attractively set.

An Athlete

As the sports-minded individual, you prefer clothing that expresses your taste toward strong, outdoorsy, uncomplicated, and basic styles. If you are the strong-willed, rugged type, try not to wear styles that make you too masculine, but neither should you wear frills and ruffles or soft styles.

You can be neat and trim and stylish in dresses and skirts that match your accessories or scarves, belts and sweaters. Wearing casual and informal jewelry that match your sporty nature, and in natural earthy colors like greens, blues, and browns are the best choices for you.

The Fashion Model

Your figure and body type is made to wear just about anything you choose. If you can afford to change your wardrobe constantly or every time a new and popular style gets to the market, this is your type. You like flash and can wear it with elegance.

Make sure your posture, walk, and self-confidence is at its highest. Everything you wear must show your individualism. Your styles are usually different from what everyone else is wearing. Your clothing must fit you well. Your statement is chic, well groomed, and elegant.

The Exotic

This personality type has qualities natural to those of you who are dark and attractive with large, expressive eyes. A striking figure that sets off even the plainest clothing lets the world know you are here. For your daywear, the best styles for you are the tailored looks that are easy, yet, attractive. Matching a bright, bold scarf with a dark dress, suit, or skirt and top brings out the glow of your skin and personality. Use styles with charm and not more than one piece of exotic jewelry.

As for your evening wear, dress in well-fitting styles and match your ensemble with eye popping jewelry that brings out your exotic and mystifying qualities. The best colors for you include the deep reds, burgundies, and of course, your oriental tones.

The All-Around Type

When you are of medium height and body, and a combination of two or more of the above types appeals to you, this may be you. If you are business-minded, romantic, athletic and intellectual as well, your fashions must be elegant, stylish and basic. And you can wear many colors.

When selecting your ensembles, go for those colors that balance each other. When the seasons change you may like soft, warm and fuzzy wools in the winter months. And for the summer you may go with those that are fresh, flowing, and breezy.

Your wardrobe is filled with everything from flirty loungewear, to roomy sportswear, to classy eveningwear. Just because you can wear just about any type of fashion, make sure your accessories are tasteful, but not excessive, and elegant, but not too sophisticated.

Whatever determines your personality or your professional outlook on the way you dress, your fashions must always express your individual style. Keep in mind the image you wish to reveal to the world. How do you wish others to see you? Your choice of fashions and the way you wear them, your confidence, and your attitude describes you. Learn to know which type you are, or if you are a combination of types. Then make it your personal and professional best.

Unlike previous year when womens wardrobe was full of elegant feminine and flattering contours outfits, this year women's outfits are proceeding towards honest and simple approach to dressing.

If you have not updated your wardrobe yet, it is the perfect time to start putting away the heavy, drab winter clothes and dress up yourself in light and bright colors. So what are you thinking for?

Themes for this summer:
Active sports wear, dancer's workout clothes are the inspiration behind Get Sporty collections. Marni's close-fitting jackets were teamed with cropped and stripped leggings.

The designers like Thakoon, Rodarte, and Alexander McQueen seems to be inspired with beauty of roses and peonies this summer. The romantic vision is blossomed with lots of structured dresses, tops and gowns.

Eighteen century's influence is coming back in 2007 with a punk feel. The feminine silhouette is getting larger with eminent volume and layers with a couture-like aristocratic and royal appeal.

Swingy shape dresses and skirts are comfortable to wear in summer. The inspiration came from Yves Saint Laurent's collection of 1958.

Golden and silver looks have gained importance in this season. This season group of fashion designers has not forgotten to use golden, pewter, and coppers colors in slinky dresses, coats, bags and shoes.

With some of these dresses in summer collection you need not wear jewelry as they come with embedded jewelry. Like, an outfit with jeweled neckline avoids the need to wear a necklace.

Colors: Summer has come up with light colors. White is key color of the season. Colors like grey, navy blue have been used to give glamorous look. Bright colors have come back with red-orange and fuchsia. Cool, neutrals will always find a place in your summer wardrobes.

Outfits:The baggy look dresses had been welcomed this season. I feel big, loose-fitting separates can be worn by both slim and slightly overweight women. You can put on perhaps a hat or chunky bracelet with your dress. This summer the length of blouses are little bit longer. It is an inch below navel and covers half of hips.

The black and white combination doesnt look contrast but it moved softer and transformed into shady grey and off white. How about trying the combination of white embroidery on black background or vice versa?

In these sunny days black string bikini is funky and easy to wear. These simple sundresses are perfect for the soaring temperatures without sacrificing style and fashion. To accessorize your outfits, try an over-sized bag with lots of details or bold, bug-eyed sunglasses. These trendy extras are sure to make a fashion statement. So it is time to brush up your cabinet with some sporty, romantic, and sophisticated dresses. Have fun, be creative, and shine this season with these great outfits.

Women basically dress to impress. What you wear can say a lot about you and your personality. Some organizations and companies have uniforms to wear for both their male and female employees. However, there are those who leave the work outfit up to the employee but with a certain dress code being imposed upon. Still, there are corporations that don't require any form of dress code and are giving their staff the freedom to dress casually.

For certain people, not having to wear a uniform to work can often be a headache as they get confused on what to wear to work every single day. There are others though who prefer not having to wear a uniform because they have the freedom to showcase their fashion sense of style and they get to wear whatever it is that they would want to subject of course to the company's dress code if there is such.

The problem of most employees especially women occur when the company merely gives a casual dress code to work. The matter gets complicated because they cannot determine when the line between wearing something casual and wearing something sloppy is being crossed. Here are a few important pointers to bear in mind.

The clothes you wear should be clean and neat at all times irregardless of the fact that you will be wearing a uniform, a business suit, business attire or a casual outfit to work. Wear shoes that are clean, polished or shined and in good condition at all times. Your hair should always be kept neat, and styled appropriately. Avoid keeping it in disarray for example by keeping it in a bun or tying it in a simple ponytail. Women should wear make-up to avoid looking pale and to bring color to their faces. The make-up though should be kept subtle. Even a simple powder and lipstick would be enough for women who are not comfortable wearing make-up. It is also important to keep nails trimmed and clean. If you prefer to have them long it should be in a reasonable length. Even if casual attire is allowed in the workplace, it is always ideal to wear a business suit or professional attire when going to a meeting or making a company presentation. It is essential that you dress appropriately for the job and the position that you are holding.

If you have an interview, you will never go wrong with business attire. Dress pants with a simple top and a blazer would always be best to make a strong impression.

In 2007 big shoes are expected to make a big hit. It's time to mothball the delicate, feminine heels because it's chunky wedges and platforms that will feature this year. During the day rope-wrapped espadrilles will be 'de rigueur' and for that glamorous night out step up to sexy evening platforms. But, what will you be wearing on top to match footwear that makes such statements?

With 42% of the average UK women's wardrobe consisting of entirely black items, its bad news for your bank account but great news for your shopping alter ego as you head for the shops and this summer's super colours. With most designers choosing bright and bold colours incorporating vivid blues, yellows and poppy reds you'll need to find the perfect match for you in terms of both the latest fashions and the spectacular colours on show. For the mega-bold there are neons that scream 'dare you to wear me!' or for the futuristic the space age look is set for a meteoric rise with metallic silver becoming the 'must-have' colour. Yes, silver! Available as dresses, tunics, minis or whatever takes your fancy.

But, if you think those colours are just a tad too bold, grey will still feature heavily this year thanks to stylish ranges from most of the high street fashion stores. And although it may be frowned upon on its own, black is definitely on the racks this summer but mainly when combined with white; everything including swim wear, accessories and dresses will carry the bold combination in prints and solids, stripes and checks, dresses and two pieces.

Designs showcased on the catwalks during fashion week highlighted the return of 80s power-dressing. So prepare yourself - shoulder pads are coming back, but hopefully they won't be accompanied by endless re-runs of Dallas and Dynasty! Also quite bold, but less obtrusive than the pad is the puff sleeve, also favoured by designers and guaranteed to be in plentiful supply throughout 2007 on tops and dresses.

Denim accessories will feature heavily this year; whether its handbags or shoes, all are designed to be worn with this season's colours. But, also expected to sell strongly this season will be the evergreen denim shorts, both as hotpants for the bold or on-the-knee versions for the more conservative amongst us. Whilst we're on the subject legs are most definitely back, with the mini-skirt expected to feature heavily in this summer's must-have fashion items, alongside the recently revived leggings look.

With zig zags, panels, pinstripes, pleats, flannel check; you'll find mini skirts in abundance. Whatever takes your fancy is available if you look hard enough, with many high street stores carrying extensive ranges and with a similar massive choice in leggings you won't be left wanting.

It's good news if you want to stock up on summer fashion. There is plentiful choice and the secret to making that ideal look will come down, as always to shopping around, trying on all the styles and seeing exactly what suits you!

It may come as a shock to those of us with more traditional tastes, but the elusive ideal of "class" can be achieved through unusual ensembles - such as those which combine diamonds and denim. In fact, you don't have to wear purely expensive stuff to look classy. You can be creative and quirky and at the same time show sophistication.

Diamonds and denim? Seriously? Yes, indeed! It may seem a little far-fetched for the more conventional of us, but this unique combination of high society and working class fashion brings out a grand mix of glamour and grit. As a diamond symbolizes the woman's finesse and nobler aspirations, denim represents the everyday woman's readiness to get "down and dirty," and to get her dainty yet strong hands soiled, should the need arise.

The dark colors of most articles of clothing made of denim are accentuated by the light caught in the facets of diamond jewelry. And even if denim items are washed into lighter colors, the stark bright flashes of diamond only serve to enhance the lightly feminine colors upon the rough fabric. In fact you can mix and match diamonds with basically any other fabric - diamonds and silk, diamonds and lace, diamonds and satin. Just as the diamond looks good with any metal base, when it is used on jewelry, the clarity inherent in the diamond ensures that it will look good with any sort of apparel.

But the diamonds and denim combination comes with a unique appeal. It brings out the dual nature of the woman: strength and delicacy, roughness and gentleness. This combination works for intense, down-to-earth women who won't compromise their style, and yet are open to displaying their more sensitive sides.

Another thing represented by denim is recumbence, the utterly casual, relaxed look. Denim, after all, is barred from most coat-and-tie establishments, and other gatherings that require tight dresses and un-flashy attire - in other words, events and places that require you to be uptight. On the other hand, diamonds are not frequently spotted in rough-and-tumble places and events, such as monster truck rallies, outdoor picnics and mosh pits. But why deny yourself the opportunity to create a pleasing blend of these two contrasting atmospheres? It is when a woman deviates from the norm that she is best able to express her individuality and creativity.

And if you don't believe me, you can always ask exquisitely fashionable creatures like Sela Ward, Alexis Bledel and Sports Illustrated model Melissa Keller. They both once attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in 2004, hosted by Judith Ripka and Cotton Incorporated, wearing their favorite jeans and accessorized by elegant diamond jewelry. If you wish to bring out your more unconventional "classy" side, go for diamonds and denim!

Days have gone when women used to wear shapeless clothes during nine months pregnancy. Today's modern, working super women want to look attractive even with their bulging waistline. The traditional "big maternity clothes" make women look even bigger than their actual size. But now so many new outfits have come in the market for those golden days. The good news is that you can find many online maternity fashion shops that offer quality maternity merchandises at affordable price.

Some guidelines you need to know before shopping for maternity dresses:

Avoid shopping maternity clothes in a hurry because you may order to pack wrong dress that looks attractive but later on you realize that you have wasted your money on this.

Your maternity clothes should provide extra room, especially to your bust and belly. Stretchable fabrics are the best.

You should purchase one or two bra for each trimester because for every trimester the size of the bust will change as it tends to grow.

Maternity clothes should absorb moisture to help pregnant women stay cool in the summer.

You should feel comfortable enough in your clothing, so that it may not cause itching in your belly. Itching may result in pregnancy marks afterwards.

You should choose garments that open easily for breastfeeding.

Women who had Caesarean delivery should wear loose clothes over the scar area until it settles down.

Ask your local lingerie specialist for maternity advice on bras. Never neglect this area because supporting your figure at this stage will help you to maintain a better shape after delivery.

When to start wearing maternity dresses: Your belly starts coming out from fourth month of pregnancy. So you can start wearing from second trimester of your pregnancy till delivery.

What to wear during Maternity period: Maternity clothes can be expensive so purchase just a few maternity dresses that you can mix and match. Wearing maternity jeans for everyday help makes you feel more normal and like everyone else. Pick jeans that have adjustable waistbands for your growing waistline. You can buy some long skirts with expandable waists and few maternity tops that can be used for breastfeeding the baby. Denim, the popular and an affordable brand of jeans offers maternity over and under bump jeans and skirts. Over bump maternity jeans with side zip fastening and elasticated waist band adjusts comfortably on your bump with the additional benefit of buttonhole elastic, which allows you to adjust the fit as your bump grows. You can also try jeans from places like Serfontaine, Earnest Sewn, J & Company and Habitual jeans.

Affordable maternity wear: Everybody can not afford expensive maternity clothes. Ultimately you have to wear these clothes for few months only and spending much on your garments does not seem worth. A baby brings so much responsibility and extra expenses for you. The good news is that many online shops offer discounts on their maternity wear.

Max maternity outfits: It is not hard to find plus size maternity cloths. Ebay also lists plus size maternity clothes for sale.

Sexy and stylish maternity wears: It would be wrong to say pregnant women can't look sexy. Nowadays market is full of fashionable, trendy and stylish maternity dresses. Stylish dresses gives confidence that pregnant woman needs in her daily routine. The elegant maternity clothes includes floor length gowns to short knee length dresses, baby doll dresses, kimono dresses, strapless dresses, halter neck dresses, wrap dresses and wedding gowns too.

Maternity wear designers: Most often it is seen that pregnant ladies cut down their social life because they do not have enough outfits to suit an occasion. Thanks to Internet where plenty of online shops are available that offers designer maternity outfits. You can get dresses from world famous designers like Dorothy Perkins, Japanese Weekend Maternity, Olian Maternity Topshop, Emma Jane, Duet Designs, Tummi, Due and Sprout and Japanese Weekend etc. These maternity fashion designers are anticipative and attentive to the pregnant woman's every maternity clothing need and desire. Don't compromise with fashion. You can wear all the clothes like jeans, pants, tops and bottoms that you used to wear when you were not pregnant.

On June 20th the US experienced some of the "I Am Not A Plastic Bag fever" that caused women in the UK to queue up for the best part of a day to hand over around $10 for a simple shopping bag.

The simple bag has become a symbol of ethical intent -and a very fashionable one at that.

The blame can be laid totally at the feet of Anya Hindmarch. Also known as the bag queen (which could have been a lot worse) She may have been displaying her green credentials when she turned the overflow bag into a style icon, but she's created yet another style conundrum for women the length and bredth of the nation!

Until recently, the overflow bag, the shopping bag, the beach bag was somewhat exempt from the rigors of trying to appear uber stylish. It was total utility garb. It's the first bag to be dumped under the desk at work, the first one to get thrown into the rear of your car, so it was to be just a holdall rather than a style statement.

Then along came Anya. 20 000 limited edition I am not a plastic bag's later and cue an overnight fashion sensation.

Ms Hindmarch knows first-hand the power fashion has, and is prepared to use it. "As a luxury fashion brand we are in a position where we can influence," she says.

It ticked all the right boxes, great fabrics, celebrity endorsement, chic neutral colours not to mention green credentials coming out of it's straps from the ecotypes at we are what we do. The lucky ones who queued for hours to get one were rewarded with the perfect garment for carrying ones groceries/laptop/bikin and towel.

Everyone else was left with a problem. If you missed out on the Hindmarch bag, what do you go for instead? Such is the problem solving ability of I am not a plastic bag that some have opted to trade them in on ebay for a cool one hundred and fifty quid! A limited edition went on sale in the US on June 20th, more mayhem.

The problem doesn't end there though, say you find an alternative you have still got to navigate the tricky hurdle of wearing two trendy bags, your shopping bag and your normal everyday bag containing keys, phone and purse) without looking too much like a fashion victim with a subscription to Grazia or Vogue.

The solution is to keep your second bag in a supporting role, something natural looking in cotton or a bright and breezy summer classic, if you are feeling flush then Pucci's range is often spectacular!

Shop around for bargains, a whole new world of possiblilty has opened up, every designer worth their salt from Queen of Suburbia to J-Crew is lining up to produce the bag that suits your seceond shoulder.

Much has been made of the fact that the Hindmarch bag is produced in China - for sure the shipping and distribution world wide, not to mention the plastic jiffy bags that her PR company sent out promotional copies in are not neccesarily the best ecological choice. But to over-analyse that seems somewhat churlish, the point was to raise awareness of the plastic bag issue. That mission has been accomplished.

Denim is a versatile fabric that has stood the test of time. Over the ages, the styles have evolved but little else has changed. It can be worn casually or semi-casually based on the accessories that go with it. Jeans was considered work clothes until the 1950s but then the new era of fashion jeans began when film and pop stars like Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando wore them. It became a hit with teenagers and thus began a long history of several film stars wearing them and also launching their own brands and styles which have their own fan following.

Designer denim jeans on the other hand are a new addition to the family of denim. The evolution of designer jeans began in Europe and once the wave of bell-bottoms subsided designer jeans flooded the market and became the craze. There are several names like Yanuk, Taverniti and others that come to mind.

The history of Yanuk denim is interesting. The owner is known as the denim godfather. Yanuk's slogan is "Do not do what everyone else is doing".

Designer jeans focused on denim fabrics with some vintage wash techniques thrown in for effect otherwise known as distressed denim. This type of denim is also termed as pre-washed, stonewashed, acid washed, ravaged/aged, white washed and super bleached. The resulting fabric has a pre-work look. The trend now is to buy jeans that already look pre-worn. Yanuk is a leading supplier for distressed denim.

Designer jeans are made from high-quality fabrics milled in the United States, Japan, Italy and other places, and processed with cutting-edge treatments and finishes. The concepts, designs, embellishments, patent-pending pockets and great attention to detail and quality give it a competitive advantage in the high-end fashion jeans market.

Yanuk jeans came into popularity due to its friendly approach to shaping women's backside. Yes, you got it. Their mission is to make you love your butt. Their unique detailing makes it very flattering and has become popular with women of all ages. Once they got the women's line of jeans going, they launched the men's collection. They also launched a children's clothing line recently.

The most popular showcase of these varieties of designer jeans is the Fashion Week. The top designers show their collections and these shows are attended by high profile personalities like buyers for major stores, the media, fashion stylists, stars and other wealthy clientele. These shows usually take place twice a year and are held in the fashion capitals of Paris, Milan, London, New York and Tokyo. Designer jeans and accessories play a large part in these shows with several film stars buying and wearing these jeans and largely increasing the brands popularity among the consumers.
Other brands owned this group are Antik Denim and Taverniti So. These brands are also immensely popular with all age groups especially the teens and each have its own fan base depending on which star endorses it.

Film stars have long endorsed jeans and wear them in public in casual settings, catwalks and also on the red carpet on many award winning nights. Jeans are here to stay for a long time to come due to their versatility. With the advent of the internet, it is possible to buy clothes off the web cheaply and often there are good bargains to be had. Yanuk, Taverniti and Antik jeans are sold in a variety of online clothing stores.

You already know that the right camisole underneath your dress suit is the perfect way to cool off while you are commuting in your car at the end of a long day. Whether it is the middle of summer or not, there are plenty of great reasons to wear some of your finest lingerie pieces underneath your daily attire. However, you also have plenty to be thankful for when it comes to lingerie when the summer months really begin to heat up. Lingerie, when chosen correctly, can be the best way to cool off even on the hottest days of the year.

Certainly, the last thing you are going to want to wear to bed on a hot summer night is a long flannel nightgown. By the same token, there is nothing really sexy about a pair of dumpy shorts and a ripped t-shirt either. While it may be cool enough to sleep in, you definitely will not feel sexy at all. Also, you should know that the right lingerie can actually make you several degrees cooler while you sleep at night.

Look around at some of the various lingerie options that you have to choose from online. Take into account what a few of your favorite materials may be, thinking all the while of just how you feel while you are wearing them. When the weather is hot, it can be hard to get a comfortable night of sleep if you are wearing any sort of garment that can get bunched up and tight while you are moving around in bed. What you may want to try is something like a fine baby doll that is made with soft and flowing material.

A perfect example of a great baby doll to wear during even the warmest night is the sheer baby dolls with triple straps. This is a stunning piece that is guaranteed to get you the attention that you deserve from your partner, while also allowing you a cool and comfortable night of rest afterward. Imagine the lasting memories that you can create when you begin to dabble in some of the lingerie choices that can cool you off during the summer!

When it comes to the day time, you may want to look at garter belts that you can wear with your favorite hosiery. Eliminating pantyhose and slipping on a pair of thigh highs instead can bring your temperature down a couple of degrees. Besides, once you get home, you won't even have to change into a different piece of lingerie to seduce your partner because you are already wearing something sexy underneath your clothes!

Suits are no longer only for men. Of course, this has been the case for quite some time now, but it only becomes more and more evident that the fashion of women wearing suits was not a passing trend or merely a rebellion to prove that women could wear suits too. The fact is that there are suit styles that are perfect for women, more perfect than they've ever been for men, and women know this well.

Women look particularly good in a suit that is double breasted; this type of a jacket is best worn by men with broad shoulders; where women are concerned, it is best worn by virtually all women! That's a nice little advantage for women when it comes to shopping for a suit. Despite having an option for men's suits that will look good on a woman's body, there's also the all-too-obvious option of simply looking for a woman's suit that has good style. For shorter women, suits that have cropped jackets can look much better than the traditional sportcoat length. For taller women, the traditional jacket cut works famously.

Pant styles are a whole different issue. Pant styles differ more than jackets styles do, especially when it comes to women's suits. For men, one cut of pants will do, only choose your waist size and measure the length, hem them, and you're good to go. For women, the task is not such an easy one. Women searching for a flattering pants suit should consider the type of jeans or other pants they usually wear, taking pleats, waist styling, and cut of the leg into consideration. Straight legs do not look good on everybody, but fortunately for women, there is a multitude of other options to be found at virtually every clothing store. The best way to know is to consider the shape you normally wear and then try on that cut with the jacket; probably, this is the best choice. However, you should always consult with the people working in the shop in which you are buying as part of their job is to know which style of suit looks best on which type of body.

Many women's suits come with skirts instead of pants. This is an excellent option if you feel that pants are not quite dressy enough, not quite professional enough, or if you work in a climate where pants are too hot for summer days. Straight skirts generally come in two lengths, either above the knee, or to the knee. Once again, your own taste in skirts and the shape/length of your legs should be the main considerations in making this choice. There are also skirts that have a little body to them in this knee-length style; this is generally a dressier style than the straight skirt, which is traditionally a woman's business suit.

There are suits for every body on today's market. With a little bit of searching and little bit of trying on, everyone can find the style that they prefer and that is flattering to their own body type.

Category: Clothing

Article Source: http://www.articlemarketer.com
------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

Plus size clothing has been around for a long time, but almost always under the auspices of the term 'plus size'. Though there's nothing too awfully wrong with this term, many women find it slightly offensive, and it's not difficult to see why. Though it's not outrageously derogatory (as it would be if these clothes were called, say 'fat size'), the term is
certainly not a positive one and it is one that causes negative feelings and takes away some of the joy that women usually feel in their shopping endeavors.

It is quite natural that women enjoy going out and shopping for all kinds of new and beautiful things; perhaps women should not link their self-image and their happiness to how good they look in their clothing, but it's incontestable that when a woman puts on a new outfit that she thinks she looks good in, her face radiates more of her natural beauty and
happiness. Looking good in clothes is not just about the clothes being pretty and them fitting well; looking good also has a lot to do with how a woman feels in her clothes, and let's face it, it's not fun to be faced with a label that says 'plus size' every time one puts clothing on, takes it off, or puts it through the laundry.

There are many reasons for which the trend in naming bigger sized clothing 'plus size'clothing is hanging. One reason is that terms tend to evolve to include more politically correct terms as the concept involves. Many examples of this can be seen throughout history, most prominently with words that refer to race, ethnicity, and disease. Another reason that the term 'plus size' is beginning to be replaced is that many more women are finding themselves in this size clothing than ever before. Americans, and people across the globe to a certain extent, are growing and unfortunately, they are growing faster outwards than
upwards. This means that more and more women are wearing size 14 and above than ever before.

In addition, different manufacturers have different concepts of where the cut-off between 'regular size' and 'plus size' lies. What this means is that some companies place a size ten or a size twelve among their plus size lines. This does not help matters.

In an effort to combat this problem, some retailers are replacing the traditional term with other terms that are less confrontational. For example, some manufacturers have two distinctions for women's clothing, such as 'Misses' sizes and 'Women's' sizes; this is one way to make the size distinction that is more politically correct and just plain more attractive than the traditional distinctions. Other manufacturers use terms like 'Generous' to refer to their lines of larger-sized clothing for women. Both of these options are currently preferred, and might even contribute to drumming up business for the companies that find nicer ways to refer to larger sizes of clothing.

------------------ ARTICLE START ------------------

Linen has many properties that make it an ideal choice for clothing. First of all, it is a natural fiber, like 100% cotton or like wool, and in today's world, natural is certainly the way to go, not just because it's popular but because it's better for everyone involved. Natural fibers are gaining popularity for all textiles, not just for clothing but also for curtains, carpets and a variety of other household textiles. This is because textiles that are created by complex processes with petroleum and other non-renewable resources are contributing to the general decline of the state of the Earth. This is one of the good reasons to buy natural fiber clothing, but what are the reasons for choosing linen instead of cotton or wool?

It is certainly cooler than wool; obviously wool is not a good choice for year-round wear as it's simply too hot to be worn in the summer. Linen is a much cooler option for summer, and not only is it cooler than wool in summer, it is warmer than cotton in winter. Another amazing characteristic of it is that it can actually feel cooler in summer because its fibers actually pull heat away from your body. Similarly to synthetic materials that pull perspiration away from your body, the fibers in linen actually breathe more easily than cotton or wool do; the result of this is that heat is conducted away from your body. In addition to channeling heat away from the body, the fibers are very good at holding moisture without feeling wet. This is because the fibers can hold a lot more water than cotton can. As soon as some water is spilled on cotton, it feels wet, but linen does not behave in the same manner. It absorbs most of the water without giving the person wearing it the feeling that it is wet. This is in sharp contrast to wool, which does not absorb water, but rather lets it pool on the outside of the material. Wool also smells absolutely terrible when it has gotten wet; luckily, that is not the case for all natural fiber clothing.

Linen is also comfortably worn next to the skin, which can not be said about wool. It is said that it does not wrinkle easily, although many consumers would dispute that fact. However, it is not the kind of fabric that has to be frequently ironed; it comes out of the wash virtually unwrinkled, and though it may get wrinkled as you wear it, it does not, generally, detract from the attractive look of the clothing. The clothing has a natural look and only wrinkles in spots like your back if you've been driving for an hour. This type of wrinkling will occur with virtually any fabric, the difference is that not all fabrics wear their wrinkles the same way. Somehow, it is accepted when linen is wrinkled; whereas with cotton, it's generally not accepted.

Structured or not, blouses are feminine and can make you look soft, powerful, or both. For the office, pair them with a jacket and pencil skirt or palazzo pants. For a casual day shopping or in class, opt for sleeveless and flowy with a pair of gouchos or leggings. Whatever the ocassion, a blouse is a great choice as it provides form, function and fashion, all in one beautiful package.

Many blouses are pulling their style from bohemian inspired prints and the bold and beautiful colors of the eastern shores. Eastern nations live for the heat, and the materials in which they produce their wares make exceptional choices for steamy summer days. Their clothing is both beautiful and comfortable. Loose and made of cotton and linen, the embroidery pops off of these and indulges your inner sex goddess as it accentuate the plunging necklines.

A newer version of the blouse this season is the gathered collar blouse. At first glance, this appears to be a top that you can throw on and run out the door. One glance in the dressing room mirror tells you otherwise though; if you're going to wear this style, you must buy one with the right fit. This style carries pleats at the neckline, which, left buttoned up creates an unflattering paunchienss. Opt for a blouse that you can unbotton and let flow in to a plunging, deep V neckline, which in turn will push the pleats to the sides making them much more comfortable. Choose three quarter or elbow length sleeves on these because if you go with a full length sleeve, the gathers at the wrist will give the illusion of draping your body in fabric instead of the peasant vibe you're trying to achieve. Lastly, these blouses are best paired with a skinny, pencil skirt or skinny pants and should always be long enough to cover your waistband.

Simply stunning are accordion-pleated tops. Delicate and intricate, the pleats add both a softness and a subtle volume to your look. These should always hang a few inches below your waistband because, with the amount of fabric in these tops, they tend to be billowy and will float up; choosing one too short leaves you exposing skin that you don't want showing, unless you're 18. Speaking of skin, you do want to show some off with these tops, but make sure it's in the shoulder and neckline area. Accordion-pleated tops are best done sleeveless. Again, with so much fabric, if your body is totally covered, you're going to look incredibly akward. Paired with the simplest of jewelry, this will be a top you will wear again and again.

Overall, I'm incredibly excited about the new trend in blouses. Even for those of us who think we don't pull off the feminine and girly look well, these pieces are sure to sway your opinion. No one says you have to choose them in pastels; go for bold and bright and make the statement you're known for! Above all else, have fun with these new styles and remember, as long as you carry yourself with confidence, you will not only look sexy, you'll feel it too!

Many people in America have joined the organic foods revolution and are spending more and more money to eat food that has a label on it that says organic or that the chickens the eggs came from are free-range chickens. In many different food groups, people are looking for things that are, in one way or another organic, and they are spending a whole lot more on groceries every week in an effort to purchase the largest majority of their food from organic brands and organic shops. If you interview these people, they will tell you that traditional practices for growing and harvesting food for humans is not a sustainable enterprise and it's one that is quickly polluting our Earth as well as our very own bodies. Interestingly enough, a lot of these people who only buy organic beef and organic soy milk are wearing clothing made in processes that are just as unsustainable and just as damaging to the Earth as the practices that they are trying to avoid by buying organic foods.

A lot of people have turned to natural fibers for all of their clothing, but what many people don't know is that cotton, though a natural fiber, is not produced naturally. Most cotton is grown on farms where a very large amount of pesticide is used in order to keep the crops productive, i.e. in order to protect the plants from being destroyed by pests. While this is the case for most cotton (cotton that is not organic), it is not the case for many other naturally occurring fibers. One good example is flax clothing, sometimes called linen. Linen is made from harvesting fibers from the flax plant. Traditionally, such clothing was called linen, but more and more often it is being called flax clothing to eliminate some of the ambiguity about where the fibers come from. Since flax clothing is made from the flax plant, it is much easier to identify the source and the resulting fabric coinciding.

Flax clothing is worn by a small percentage of people who are concerned about the environment and about sustainable living. Like organic food, flax clothing is much more expensive than traditional 100% cotton clothing. The reasons for this are many, but most importantly, organic foods and truly organic fibers, such as those in flax clothing, are not mass-produced the way that traditional cotton and traditional beef and milk are produced. Organics do not depend on pesticides to do all the work in growing the product. As a result, the farmers growing them have more work of their own to do.

Despite the higher cost, flax clothing is a responsible choice for healthy, sustainable living. Consumers find it to be exceedingly comfortable and exceedingly easy to care for. It's also durable, and only gets softer as it is worn over and over again, so it's clothing that you can enjoy for years to come. Like everything else in the organic world, it's about making a product to last instead of to be disposable; it's about buying six expensive flax shirts instead of 30 cheap cotton ones. In the end, it costs the same, but the organic choice is not only good for you, it's also good for the Earth.

As women, we are genetically pre-dispositioned to want, need, and lust after shoes. Even if our closet is overflowing with shoes that we often don't wear, we'll buy more. Let's face it, if they're on sale, we have to buy them even if we don't need them, if only because they're on sale. If we truly love them and they're way out of our price range, we'll still buy them, even if it means sacrificing our next two paychecks and eating ramen for the rest of the month. Either way, we know that what we put on our feet can make or break our outfit. So, is there a solution to the maddening love affair? A way to have shoes that are both affordable and adorable? This seasons hottest shoes are not breaking the bank, and thankfully, designers have wisened up so they're not killing our arches either. The heel on sandals has come down, and some are now even sporting a paper-thin, platform heel in the back.

Warm weather brings flip-flops, of course. These are nice, flat, and thanks to high demand by both ladies and gents alike, we can get them on the cheap and easy, or, we can pay a bit more for something sparkly and fly. Designers are also including bejeweled lines in stores, channeling some of the South American influence that we've seen in clothing and handbags. Trends are pointing towards the flip-flop on a small, petit heel, with an ankle strap as well; if you want even more flair, choose a pair that has a rhinestone encrusted buckle. Remember to always keep your pedi up to date as your feet are the focus of attention when wearing an open toed shoe.

Ballet flats are a sweet and innocent looking summer steal, even when you sport them in leopard print. These shoes can go from the boardroom to the boardwalk and you'll look great, plus your feet will be thanking you because they're a shoe of such simple construction. Dressed up or down, these shoes are so versatile you truly can wear them anywhere! Not only that, but as graceful and demure as dancers are, it can make you feel very much like the princess when you slip your feet in to them.

Slingback flats are a low-key style that bridge the precarious gap between total utility and ultimate femininity. As with other great summer shoes, slingbacks can be worn with anything from a corporate pantsuit to bermuda style shorts with a blousy tank or peasant blouse. Last summer, espadrille sandals were wildly popular, as they continue to be this year also. Pair the feminine and sexy style of the this shoe with a more updated bamboo or cork wedge heel and you've got a look with staying power. Because this heel provides a solid construction, your foot is well supported and you should be able to spend the day in a pair of these. You'll find almost all of these styles manufactured in a variety of materials, from canvas and linen to organic cotton and vegan; no matter what you crave, there is a color and style to match any taste.

So, there you have it girls! Go get some great shoes that won't break your bankroll. Summer is a season to be fun and carefree - the year, show your fun and spunky side by letting your feet do the walking AND the talking!

When someone thinks about women's fashion, the first thing that comes to mind is the outer body, but shouldn't you also think about the inner self?

Women's fashion should also be about how a woman conducts herself. Where she eats, whom she is seen with, how she talks, and how she thinks. There are no limits to the definition of fashion, so why stop with just the outer appearance? It is not very fashionable when a woman is having a cat fight in public or if a woman is so envious of another woman that she puts guilt on her for having something. Fashion goes way beyond the way one looks, one must think outside of the box. Appearance is not everything.

All throughout the media there are stories of female celebrities fighting over men, or someone has been parting to hard. One steals another's boyfriend or is gossiping behind someone's back. This is not true women's fashion. It is, however, human nature to be catty and vindictive, but can one not control their behavior so it is fashionable, so as to set a good example for the young girls. A woman that is constantly vulgar, using bad language for everyone to hear is not fashionable. It is more fashionable to be polite, concise, intelligent, and of good virtue then to be ugly, crude, and just plain stupid. There are so many ways to let one's self be known and to stand up for one's self without being unfashionable.

There are some not so respectful people in the world. The drug addicts, the violent people, etc... if a women is seen associating with these type of people, she would not appear fashionable. She may be the most well dressed one in the area, but she is still in the company of bad people. Also, hand in hand with that, if that same woman walked into a dirty little cafe as opposed to a high class restaurant, which would appear to be more fashionable. Where a woman goes and who she is seen with is just as important as what she has on.

Even looking inward can still lead to outward appearances, but, it goes to show that clothes and make up does not define women's fashion alone. There are a lot of factors leading into women's fashion, you can dress her up all you want, but that does not make her fashionable.

Many people currently agree that the current trends in clothing are quite appalling. The reason for this is not, of course, that there's anything inherently wrong with the clothes, but rather the fact that the clothing fashions of the 80s went out of style for a good reason. Now the 80s fashions are considered, by most who remember the 80s, to have been downright hideous and indeed, current fashions are too reminiscent of the 1980s for most people's comfort.

What exactly is meant by 80s-style fashions? Well, there are lots of different angles from which to look at this question. If you look at hair, you will remember that hair had infinitely more body to it in the 80s than it does now. Current hair trends seem to be less artificial, letting the hair fall more or less the way it naturally falls and calling it good. In the 80s, hair was not only cut in layers, but also permed into waves, and, most notably, the bangs of the 80s. Perhaps not everyone remembers the bangs of the 80s, when the top layer was turned upwards and sprayed (with a great amount of hairspray) into an upward turned wave. As odd as it sounds, and as unnatural as it sounds, the hair actually stayed like this virtually all day because of the vast quantities of hairspray put on for this specific purpose. After curling up and spraying the top layer, the bottom layer was curled into a downward-turned wave, and again sprayed with hairspray. In short, hair had a lot of body in the 80s; the clothing, unfortunately, did too.

For example, a skirt in the 80s had its own body; it did not accent the body of the person inside it, instead, it had its own body, flouncing outward from the body in varying spots. Similar to the hairstyles, 80s clothing had a lot of body. Sleek A-line skirts were unheard of and socks were not socks unless they were slouched and worn at least two pairs at a time. Frighteningly enough, these fashions are coming back in current clothing trends.

A good definition for this current fashion is that it ignores the principle of economy of materials meaning that extra fabric is used in addition to the fabric needed to cover the body. For example, skirts have multiple vertical folds that are asymmetrical and essentially formless. Belts are 3 inches thick and do not go through belt loops - they are essential necklaces for the waist. Sweater collars do not simply turn down; they turn down, and cover half of the sweater with a doubled layer of sweater. In addition to affecting clothing so deeply, handbags have suffered the same 80s revival; they consist of more metallics than material.

In short, the reason why is unknown, but the 80s are almost back, as seen in trends of clothing and accessories across the US and Europe.

Flax is a fairly tall and slender plant that features vivid green leaves and vibrant pale blue flowers. Flax, both in its pure plant form as well are from its seeds and fibers, has an astonishing array of uses. Flax is used in such diverse applications as foodstuffs, clothing, medications and nutritional supplements, and flax once even has some automotive uses before the advent of automotive synthetics. While flax can be grown in a wide variety of locations, it is most commonly produced commercially in northern Europe, most notably in Ireland and several of the former members of the Soviet Union.

The seeds of the flax plant are used in a number of ways. For instance, the oil of the flax seed is useful as a drying agent in various kinds of paints and varnishes. Additionally, since flax seed oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids (an important nutrient found most commonly in fish that is lacking in many American diets) the extract of the flax seed can be used as a source of Omega-3 either in its pure form or, more commonly, as a component of a nutritional supplement. Flax seed can also be eaten, and many cultures have utilized it as a food source, as well as for livestock feed. Flax extract can also be used as a binding agent and can therefore replace eggs in baking recipes.

Flax finds most of its more visible uses through the production of flax fiber. For example, a major component of the fabric linen is flax fiber. It is believed that humans have been using flax fiber to make clothing for thousands of years, so it is clear that flax fiber has some serious staying power. Flax fiber is extracted from the derma of the flax stem, and it is used in products such as clothing, rope, bank notes, and even cigarette papers.

Flax is primarily cultivated in northern Europe. Flax is harvested while still green as the quality of flax fiber quickly declines once the flax seeds reach maturity. Unlike many other agricultural products, flax is not cut--rather, flax is pulled up from the ground with the roots intact in order to achieve the maximum fiber length. After harvest, flax undergoes threshing. Threshing involves the use of machines to separate out the important parts of the flax plant--the wood, the fiber, and the seed.

Flax is one of the most diverse cultivated plants in the world. The uses of flax and flax by-product range from food and nutritional supplements to the use of its fibrous components in ropes, twine, and clothing. While flax is rarely consumed directly (though parts of the flax plant are edible), the seeds as well as flax seed extract are a common component in many foods.

The term "fashion" is defined in the Webster's dictionary as "the current style of dress" and the term "woman" as "an adult female human". So, women's fashion can be defined as an adult female's current style of dress.

It is such a simple definition, then why is fashion such a hard thing to follow. The world of fashion hits us when we are children, so it is no wonder that is imprinted in our brains by the time we are women. I, personally, can be very satisfied with my wardrobe until I see a fashion show, or simply another woman walking down the street. Women spend so much time looking at and criticizing one another, they don't know how to be happy with what they have and are wearing. The definition is so simple; the adult female's current style of dress, why do we women have to make it so complicated.

The answer is simple, human nature makes us envious of each other, and the fashion media only antagonizes it. They show these perfect women on the runways, plus, the ads in magazines show only beautiful women, looking so amazing and satisfied, why wouldn't any women want to buy the clothes she is wearing. It's as if the ad is saying "if you want to be this beautiful and happy, buy my clothes". I believe this is one of the secret selling points of fashion, whether it be clothes, shoes, accessories, or whatever; they sell the idea of happiness through material and perfect women.

Fashion marketers hit on a woman's real need to be the most beautiful, the best dressed, and the thinnest, even though it is a never ending circle. Women, in my opinion, want to be the one to inspire envy through fashion, not be the one who is envious. Fashion is could be such a good thing if women would learn to be happy with themselves, for who they are, not who they idealistically compare themselves to.

Fashion was meant to make women pretty and to help build trends, well mostly to make money, but it was supposed to let people with the gift of making clothes to allow others to benefit. Fashion has turned into a, well, may an unintentional, but a competition between women that I don't think will ever end. It in turn makes the world interesting, so bring on the world of fashion.

Every woman has a choice of whether or not to follow the latest fashion trends. Some women can't afford to change their wardrobe every time there is a new style, and not every woman wants to change. It is a personal choice to be a trend follower or a trend setter.

There are a lot of high profile women who follow the latest trends and look great for it. These high profile people make it look extremely easy to be on top of fashion. Being fashionable can be very easy if you are either a smart shopper or very wealthy. These types of people are followers. They must have what is new and hot as soon as it hits the runway. This is a good thing because it allows people to see the latest fashion trend and personalize it to themselves.

A person who would rather stay in the background and not make a huge statement will follow the fashion and leave it at that. Then there are the women who want to be noticed, to take charge of fashion and make a huge statement. This woman may look at the latest trend and think "I do like that, but let's take it further". This type of woman will use women's fashion as a stepping stone to see how far they can take it. These are the women who may start a new fashion trend all on their own. Both types are essential to keeping the fashion world together. One is the models, real woman; the other is the designers, the marketers. Both work in tune with each other.

The next question is, would you rather be a trend setter or a trend follower. A trend follower has it easy, all they do is conform to what is being publicized. One has to want to look good but does not take it to the point of owning the outfit they are wearing, which means, they wear the clothes, but do not command the clothes.

On the other hand, a trend setter may keep up with the latest fashion, but this person will take it to the next level. They may even seem eccentric, as they are wearing what is hot, but add their personality to the outfit with all kinds of accessories. Just ask yourself, do you want to be a trend setter or a trend follower?

This season, the cutsie dress is making a strong comeback along with t-shirt dresses, drawstring waists and hems and mini skirts. These are all simple additions to your closet and are very inexpensive updates that can be done. If you're a mom, you may find your daughter raiding the attic for some true vintage treasures; if this is the first time you've seen this look, you might be wondering the best way to pull these looks together. So, before you go shopping, check out these few tips that you should keep in mind when purchasing.

One of the cutest, and most flattering looks, is to pick a jumper that is fitted and rouched at the bust; this creates a swingy shape and gives you room to wear a shirt underneath. Jumpers and pinafore dresses are already very girly, so choose them in neutral shades and compliment them with a shirt that is bold in color. If you're headed to the farmer's market, throw on a bright, paper-thin t-shirt underneath and put a pair of flip-flops on your feet; on the opposite end of the spectrum, if you're going to the office, opt for a more structured blouse, bold, but sans frills, and a pair of ballet flats or wedges. The rouching at the bustline gives this outfit plenty of flair, so jewelry is not necessary.

T-shirt dresses are a staple in many a fashionista's closet. One of the simplest items to slip on, dress up or down and head to Starbucks in, everyone from Los Angeles to New York City is wearing them. The problem with these is that, traditionally, they have been made to be a bit more clingy; those of us without a personal trainer can be left feeling a bit self-conscience. This year, designers are answering the call to ease up and design a dress that even those of us that are not a size 2 can wear, comfortably and confidently. Showcasing t-shirt dresses with more swing and shift has allowed all of us to enjoy one of the most perfectly perfect clothing items that summer can bring. Another addition has been the drawstring hemlines which give these a sporty look with more volume. Pop these on with sandals or ballet inspired Keds and you can go from morning to evening without ever changing your clothes.

Mini-skirts are back and popular as ever this summer season. For those of us who lived the 80s and early 90s, these are nostalgic pieces that bring back visions of Cyndi Lauper and the women of the Van Halen videos. Since then, like us, the mini has evolved. Different cuts require careful consideration when pairing with a top and shoes so you can look your very best. If choosing an A-line mini, you'll have some swing to work with at the hips. Boxy styled t-shirts will create a straight and uniform line around your torso if you tuck them in, which equates to ultra-flattering. Paired with a set of canvas Mary Janes and you'll be cute and comfortable.

Fitted minis are sexy and the ultimate in classic throwback. Because the hemline is longer on this style, you'll find that these hit the lower thigh and will make for the safest option at the office. A loose blouse, belted, gives a softer look and balances the sexiness; low heels complete this look. A newer addition to the mini line-up, but very in line with the trends, is the bubble mini. These are meant to be worn low on the hips, so if you're self-conscience about bending over and the possibility of your lower back showing, this may not be the best look for you. These are gathered and very full, so they are best balanced with a fitted tank and flat sandals or espadrilles. Finally, the full mini rounds out this group of summer fashion. Of all 4, this mini will make your legs appear the slimmest because, again, it is a very full skirt, but more structured than the bubble. Paper-thin tunic-style shirts look great with these and create a long, lean look. To make your legs appear their longest, slip in to wedges.

In the heat of summer, a dress is often the simplest and most comfortable thing to wear. It also happens to be incredibly sexy and versatile. The fact that these are low maintenance and inexpensive additions to your wardrobe make the purchase a no-brainer. Show off your sexy smarts and grab these styles up today!

Many brides face a dilemma when it comes to what will be done about the wedding gown. There may be some pressure to wear a gown that has been in the family for generations. Perhaps the well intending mother of the bride is shooting down every idea for a gown that appeals to the bride. It seems that everyone has an opinion about where the wedding gown will come from and what it should look like. If you are bride to be that is caught in this sort of a situation, here are some things to keep in mind.

First, it is important to remember that a wedding is a public celebration of a commitment between two people - you and your fiancee. The focus for the event is not what everyone else in the world wants. The desires of you and your intended spouse are of the utmost importance. After all, the two of you are the ones who will remember this day in every detail long after everyone else has forgotten all but small bits of the event. If there is a particular style of wedding dress that you prefer, then wear it.

Second, chances are that many of the people who are trying to influence your choice of a gown for the wedding are doing so with the best of intentions. They may be pushy and irritating, but they honestly are trying to help. If at all possible, try to steer them into helping with other details that are of less importance to you, or that need attention that you cannot give right now. Let some of these well wishing folks narrow down the designs for the wedding invitation for you, so that you don't have to look at hundreds of samples. Ask them to focus on finding samples for attendant dresses that go with your color scheme. Perhaps you can get one or two to begin checking out sites for the reception. Divert their attention while you move forward with your plans for the wedding gown of your choice.

Keep in mind that no matter what you do, someone is going to have hurt feelings. That simply cannot be avoided. To that end, turn down advice as politely and as discreetly as possible. The hurt will heal much more quickly if no one feels publicly embarrassed. While there will probably be one or two that will almost insists on a public showdown, keep as calm as you can, but stick to your guns.

Your wedding day should be memorable because it is the way you and your new spouse want it to be, not because it meets the expectations of anyone else. That includes your choice of wedding gown. Make your own memories in your own way, and you will have something glorious to look back on in the years to come.

Human as we are, we always look into the manner a person dresses and carries herself. You would be a hypocrite not to admit to the fact that many of us judge a person by what she wears and how she projects an image. First impressions can make lasting impressions and if you want to be treated accordingly and with respect when it comes to your position or to your work, then it is of utmost importance that you dress the part and that you dress appropriately.

With the relaxed atmosphere that most companies have with regards to being not strict with their dress code and allowing their staff and employees to dress casually, there are many women who are losing the recognition and the respect they deserve because of how they dress. Coupled with the fact that there are many nowadays who are working at home where it isn't necessary for them to dress up for work. How you dress up may be secondary compared to your know-how, your knowledge on the job and your attitude towards work but still appearance counts.

There have been studies and experiments wherein two women who had the same ability and the same knowledge dressed differently when making proposals or presentations. Majority would trust and believe more on the woman who was dress accordingly like maybe in pantsuit or business attire compared to the other one who failed when it came to appearance dressing probably in jeans or casual attire.

It isn't necessary for you to have the face of an angel and the body of a supermodel. What's important is that you'll make a better impression with a combination of knowledge, good attitude towards work and appearance especially with regards to what you wear when you meet prospective clients, make presentations at company meetings, etc.

Even if you may only get to wear a business suit a couple of times in a year because you do work at home and you don't always go out to meet people and make presentations, one or a couple of suits or business attire should be kept in your wardrobe. It is ideal to select classic designs that never go out of style so that you could just wear them over and over again. A skirt and a jacket or a pantsuit would be most appropriate.

Colors should preferably be neutral and in dark shades like black, dark blue and gray. Accessorizing is perfectly fine but avoid overdoing it with elaborate, big and glitzy jewelries. Hair should be kept clean and tidy and make-up should be kept simple.

A bath robe, commonly made with cotton, is the garment worn by people inside the privacy of their homes. Usually, they use it before taking a shower to cover their nude body and after taking a shower to dry off the water. It later became a fashion trend, however, that resulted to the popularity of robes made of silk. Since silk is not a good material to absorb water, the primary use of silk robes is to cover the body. Silk robes act like a secondary garment to cover the sleeping clothes of a person.

Later on, robes made of microfibers were made available in the market. The use of microfibers as a robe material tends to speed up the absorption of water as well as provide the feel of smoothness to the skin similar to the effect of the silk material. The breathable quality of a robe is an important thing to consider when looking for a robe. Robes when worn should not be clingy on skin to keep the wearer feeling fresh in spite of the wrap.

Aside from the three common types of materials used for making robes, the type of weaving pattern can also have an effect on the robe's breathability and effectiveness in absorption of water. Aside from these features, the kind of weaving pattern is important to control the softness and lightweight quality of a bath robe.

In summary, robe users have a choice on the type of robe they prefer. They can choose between cotton, silk or microfibers. A microfiber robe is the best bet since it possesses good characteristics of both cotton and silk; however, traditionalists prefer cotton while highly fashionable people will most likely to buy a silk robe. Though the weaving pattern has an effect on the characteristics of a robe, the kind of material used is more important. In the final analysis, the right robe for you will be the one that meets your own personal list of criteria. You will want one that is soft enough, that is the right length and is large or small enough to have a comfortable fit, and that makes you feel like relaxing and enjoying yourself for a period of time. When you find a robe that will accomplish these three things for you, then make sure you grab it. There is no reason to let the right type of robe pass you by.
